Postcard from Switzerland
Yippii!! I've got my first postcard from Switzerland. Thank you so much to Sonja. Well, Sonja sent me a postcard with a very beautiful view of of Zurich that surrounded by the states' flags of Switzerland.
Zurich is the largest city in Switzerland. It is situated at 408 m above sea level on the lower (northern) end of Lake Zurich (Zürichsee) about 30 km north of the Alps, nestled between the wooded hills on the west and east side. And sure, Zurich is a very awesome city.
This postcard has given me new knowledge about Switzerland having 26 states (Canton). Each state has its own flag (you can see from the postcard).
Once again, thank you Sonja :)
Another Postcard from Estonia
Yeaayyy! I got a postcard from Estonia. The picture of the postcard is a lighthouse and a ship in Parnu, Eesti(love it so much). Thanks Maili :)
Pärnu is a city in southwestern Estonia on the coast of Pärnu Bay, an inlet of the Gulf of Riga in the Baltic Sea. It is a popular summer vacation resort with many hotels, restaurants, and large beaches. The city is served by Pärnu Airport.
Thanks Maili of Estonia :)

Postcard from USA
This is a postcard from Yossarian of Virginia, USA. The picture you see on this card is the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historical Park.
The Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historical Park is a United States National Historical Park located in the District of Columbia and the states of Maryland and West Virginia. The park was established as a National Monument in 1961 by President Dwight D. Eisenhower in order to preserve the neglected remains of the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal along the Potomac River along with many of the original canal structures. The C & O canal is popular with tourists, hikers and bikers.
Anyway, thanks a bunch Yossarian for sending me this beautiful scenery postcard.
Postcard from the Netherlands
This is the first postcard with a picture of Royal family for me. So thanks truck loads for Diana for sending me this card.
Well, this postcard shows us the picture of Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands with the background of the Netherlands’ flag. Here I put a little story about Queen Beatrix. She was born on January 31, 1938 at the Soestdijk Palace in Baarn, Netherlands. She was the eldest daughter of Crown Princess Juliana of the Netherlands and Prince Bernhard of Lippe-Biesterfeld. On 30 April 1980, Beatrix became Queen of the Netherlands when her mother abdicated. If she steps down, her first son (Prince Willem Alexander) will take over her position and become King Willem Alexander.
